Find the value of the circumference of a circle with the given diameter. 3.21 ft. C = A = 1.61 pi B = 3.21 pi C = 6.42 pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5.03 ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The equation for circumference is\[C=2\pi r\] So just plug in 3.21 ft and calculate it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well you have to divide 3.21 ft by 2 first, since you're given diameter and need the radius for the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C=8.08 ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but my answer is suppost to have pie in it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then is 2.57 pie

OpenStudy (aliahmed):

c=π.d

OpenStudy (aliahmed):

d=2r

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2.57 is not one of my answers

OpenStudy (aliahmed):

then the correct answer is c which equal=6.42 pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you all for the help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer should be B. The diameter is 3.21. \[C=2 \pi r \rightarrow C=D \pi\] D=3.21 So, \[C=3.21 \pi\] Which is B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh. your right. i checked and the answer was b. thanks
