alright this is a great way to memorize the trig functions

SOH stands for Sine(theta)=Opposite/Hypotenuse

CAH stands for Cosine(theta)=Adjacent/Hypotenuse

TOA stands for Tangent(theta)=Opposite/Adjacent

Theta is the angle you're working with, Opposite side is always the one directly across from the angle, Hypotenuse is always directly across from the right angle (90 degrees) and the adjacent is always the left over or the one perp over the opposite
