What does the Kinetic Theory of Matter state that matter is composed of? A. empty space B. atoms surround by empty space C. subatomic particles made up of atoms D. pressure, volume, and mass

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kinetic theory of matter states that all mater consist of small particles in rapid motion. The tiny particles mentioned are atoms which are made from subatomix particles.. However the theory's focus are the atoms so I would go for B.

OpenStudy (shane_b):

Yea...I thought C for a moment but I think B is the better choice.

OpenStudy (shane_b):

Mainly I ditched C because subatomic particles can't be atoms...by the definition of subatomic.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The electron, proton and neutron are subatomic particles.. So C should be correct as well but it not the point of the theory, I think...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ooh wait, I think I wasn't really reading C... Yeah, that doesn't make sence..
