Ok nobody bash me for saying this but, can we report people that just start drama? i dont just mean if its mean, its just that this is a study site. Not, who are we dating site. Also, I wish people would use the chats to discuss things about the topic of that particular chat, because thats kind of the purpose of it. One last thing, I love Open Study as a site but I just think people are misusing it.

I'd like to see less drama in the chat areas as well. However, the chat rooms are available to anyone logged into the group, and if they aren't breaking code of conduct, it's perfectly fine to do that. 

If it really is starting to bother you though, ask them politely to stop, and ask if they could possibly discuss over messages, or another website.

Sorry, but as KingGeorge mentioned, unless they're doing something against the Code of Conduct we're hesitant to get involved. That said, if someone is blatatly causing drama (i.e. insulting users, etc) we usually will intervene. It's such a judgement call situation that it's hard for me to give you a 100% definite answer.

Also worth mentioning, the chats were only partially ever meant to be on topic. Their main purpose was to provide a place where non-question-related discussion could happen in general, be it social conversation or discussion about the subject.
