OpenStudy (laronjaxon):

Why is the quadratic formula the best method to use?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because A quadratic equation in one variable has as standard form: ax^2 + bx + c = 0.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

it isn't always the best method if the quadratic can be factored its easier eg x^2 + 4x + 4 =0 (x+2)(x+2) = 0 and the root is -2

OpenStudy (laronjaxon):

@cwrw238 can you help me with one quick question?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

ok

OpenStudy (laronjaxon):

Which expression represents 8x^3/7in radical form

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

you have a fractional exponent - here the top part (3) is the power ant the denominator (7) is the root
