When writing a citation and it is retrieved from an online website, should it be written, "RETRIEVED ON" or "retrieved from" ?

I think if you said "retrieved on" whatever site it wouldn’t make as much sense as "retrieved from" but I don’t really know.

I agree. Saying "retrieved on" sounds so strange. Makes it sound like the website is a tangible item. You should say "retrieved from".
