9x - 7i > 3(3x - 7u)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are you trying to do with the inequality?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just simplify it as far as you can ;D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

distribute first the 3(3x-7u),and then solve as far as you can.. :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Multiply the 3 into the factor on the right-hand side, and start moving terms around until you reduce it to one term that has an x, one term with an i, and one with a u.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o.O so the answer is i<3u? :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or, if the x's disappear..then that's that...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u will arrive to \[i <3u\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see what i did there? ;o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9x-7i>3(3x-7u) 9x-7i>9x-21u can u continue to solve this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea lol 9x-7i=9x-21u -7i=-21u i<3u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

great

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no one sees the nerd love in this? :(
