taking earth to be a spherical conductor of diameter 12.8*10^3km .what will be its capacity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

capacity means volume. volume of a sphere = 4/3 * pi * r^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find r, first divide the diameter by 2. Then, substitute it into the formula I presented

OpenStudy (foolaroundmath):

Isnt this better suited in the Physics discussion area ? (I think you meant capacity to be capacitance ;) )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it means capacitence in microfarads
