help :) Explain why dialyzite gave a positive reaction with silver nitrate and a negative reaction with iodine solution ?

The silver nitrate reacting with cl- gives rise to white ppt of silver chloride , where as iodine does not oxidize chloride as result silver nitrate shows Positive and iodine shows negative
