tips?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi*7*width

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the radius is 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first, think about it as two circles. then minus from the large circle the small circle, and divide it by two so you get the one hemisphere.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got approximately 32.99.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the answer is 29 square feet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the problem here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do we need to find area instead?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was wrong..radius of outer sircle is 14/2...and inner circle in 11/2.....so area is Pi*(7^2-(5.5)^2)/2
