what do the the Commutative and Associative Properties look like??

let * = "operated with" and not multiplication:

Commutative:
x * y = y * x

Associative:
a*(b*c)=(a*b)*c

Commutative essentially means the order of the terms doesn't affect the outcome. Associative is a term that basically means the grouping of the terms doesn't affect the outcome.
