This is part of my degree right now... haha. Are you talking about the high pressure in the turbine itself, a steam recovery system, or something entirely different? Usually cogeneration is used in power plants with turbines, so steam is almost always there.

it follows isentropic process gas turbines are based on brayton cycle which follow isentropic process.

I'd agree with kunalkambo. Under ideal conditions, turbines and pumps treated as isentropic devices.
