mips : how do I use a loop to fill all the t registers with an incrementing number?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure that this is possible with MIPS. For as far as I can remember, it is not possible to update the source/destination registers while a program is running. You can, however, do something like: mov $t0, $0 add $t1, $t0, 1 add $t2, $t1, 1 and so on.

k, found out there is a way , but it's very slow. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5119656/mips-assembly-register-traversing 66 I think your way works better
