Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but in lecture 6 around minute 30, the prof wondered why the answer was so different when the only thing that had apparently changed was the precision value. Well, this is easily explained - even the number was different in the compareMethods function. So this was really a cut-and-paste error in the print statement and not a floating point underflow or overflow, as suggested in the lecture.

Sorry, Chetan.  I signed up for that class and then a few months later found that they had posted a Spring 2011 version of the same class, so I signed up for it.  I never got as far as Lecture 6 in the 2008 course.  Good Luck!  Brian
