umm is it bad if this stuff is kinda hard for me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it was easy, you wouldn't need the course. I was finding it pretty straight forward until I started the Problem Sets. Then I realized how little I know...

google 'precalculus' it'll make more sense. if you know precalculus math inside out then you will understand this. There's a series of vids on youtube called "Highlights of Calculus" by an MIT prof for highschool students to make it easier to udnerstand as well

MIT is MIT Their problem sets require you to think beyond what the course has specifically taught you, and to use skills you have learned in class along with your own creativity to tackle new and seemingly different situations in a unique way. This is designed to separate the men from the boys (my apologies for the sexist nature of that comment, but it's an old expression). That said, it is not a bad thing that these problem sets are hard for you. On the contrary, if you have the diligence to make the effort to understand exactly where you are having your difficulties, that is how you will learn to master the subject. Once you have learned things the MIT way and tackled the hard problems, "normal" problems seem easy!
