choose the point which is a solution to the system of inequalities:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2x-3y \ge12\] \[x+y \le7\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x - 3y >= 12 -> y = 2/3x - 4 x + y <= 7 -> y = -x + 7 graph the graphs and see where they collide

I did, but i keep getting different answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's 2/3 * x -4, check if u did 2/(3x) the answer should be (33/5, 2/5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I didn't get that...

http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=2x+-+3y+%3E%3D+12%2C+x+%2B+y+%3C%3D+7 any points in the shaded area should be a right answer. you can get the shaded area by graphing the two graphs and shade regions based on the inequalities
