grams is for mass. liter is for volume. they aren't the same.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
It is less than 1000..
I think about 920 something...
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
but my sir used 100o grams for 1 liter in a chemistry {stoichiometry} problem
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
1000

It depends on density of the solution....
OpenStudy (anonymous):
maybe you used a fixed density?
OpenStudy (callisto):
then your sir assume that density of solution = 1gcm^-3
1 litre = 1000cm^-3
mass = 1000 x 1 = 1000g
OpenStudy (callisto):
*assumed
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
k & am i right about those other points.

i mean 1m^3 etc.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
1 m^3 = 1000 mL = 1 L
1 cm^3 = 1 mL
you're right i believe
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
Is \[1 m^3 \ne 1000 l\]?????????????
OpenStudy (callisto):
1 cubic meter = 1 000 liter .... I think.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
wait a minute.
1000 cm^3 = 1 L
10 m^3 = 1 L

I have searched on google & found 1000 l = 1m^3 @abb50
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
so wt should i do ?
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
I mean remember.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yeah. I'm wrong. Sorry.
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
np:)

If 1cm^3 = 1ml is true.
1000 cm^3 = 1000ml = 1L is also true.
1m^3 = 1x100x100x100 cm^3= 1000000cm^3 = 1000L is true.
OpenStudy (callisto):
And I think 1cm^3 = 1mL is true. So I think it is true :)
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
thanx a lot @Callisto @abb50 @waterineyes
