Directions: The people of France have a long and intimate history with the arts, including poetry and music. La Marseillaise, the French national anthem, was composed around the time of the French Revolution and served as a rallying cry for revolutionaries everywhere. Create an original poem or song highlighting the following three issues:  unfair tax structure, inferior social status, and lack of educational opportunities. Include references to at least three specific grievances in your poem. Write a minimum of 15 lines.
