this question is something like this: Since vertex is the origin O(0,0) and focus is on the X-axis, the equation of this parabola is y² = 4px. ... (1) Its focus is S ≡ ( p, 0 ) ≡ ( - 4, 0 ). ∴ p = -4 ∴ 4p = 4( - 4 ) = -16 ∴ equation of this parabola is : y² = -16x .........
