Quick question really easy
If S = {students in Chemistry class} and subset B = {girls in Chemistry class}, what is B′? {boys in Chemistry class} {students in chemistry class} { } {girls in chemistry class} please help me! :)
please, does anyone know the answer!?
Here is the logic S is the set of students in chemistry class that means S includes both boys and girls now B is the ser of all the girls in chemistry class so B is subset of S so answer is 3 only since it does not includes boys in chemistry class
so its c?
Hello???
Please be patient, people post here to help out and may be answering multiple questions at once. I believe what he meant by 3 is the third choice in your list.
im sorry im new to this. and Okay thank you so much!
Yes it is C see the set S consists of all the students in chemistry class which includes bith boys and girls now Set B consist of all the girls exclusively of all the girls in chemistry class and set B does not include boys so answer is C
@ipm1988 It's asking for the complement of B, not B.
Sorry sorry I missed the B compliment part then my answer is wrong it A
Okay thank you both!

Yess
FYI it's not a good idea to use this site for quizzes and tests. Best thing to do is to ask questions regarding general topics. Then someone can walk you through how to solve it, so you can do the next one on your own. If you have questions, or are in the middle and are stuck you can certainly ask where to go from there, or where you got stuck, or why you're not getting the right answer.
