Well, the Emperor Nero of the Roman Empire is considered by some to be the antichrist referenced in the Christian writings. It's known that he was vilified by Christians for his extensive persecution of them which allegedly includes the deaths of the Apostles, Peter and Paul. 

He also wasn't a very nice guy to his own people. In the end, it was the Romans who plotted his demise. He took his own life when it was clear that he was going to be killed under orders from the Senate and others who had enough of his abusive rule.

but at the same time they were targeted races with the antichrist he or she ( most likely he) will be targeting ultimate power over everything whereas those great men you named have the same thoughts as the antichrist they are not quite that category.
