What is the y−coordinate of the y−intercept of the line that passes through the points (−4, −4) and (4, 8)?

In the following formula m is the slope. Substitute the given coordinates to find the equation of the line. Then you can find the y-intercept. \[y-y _{1}=m(x-x _{1})\]
