Whats the difference between growth and decay?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Growth you're adding to some amount while decay is some amount decreasing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Exponential growth is when the amount of something is increasing, and exponential decay is when the amount of something is decrease

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

in growth models things keep increasing decay models they keep decreasing decay models have a negative exponent, growth models have a positive exponent

Ok thanks alot!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Groth and decay are the same other than -

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in either way the cahnge can be represented as kA where A is your population however k is a constant that will change to - with decay and growth will be positive
