(Geometry) Which expression shows the value of c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a. b/cos45° b. a cos 45° c. a sin 45° d. b/sin45°

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sin(45)=\frac{a}{c}\] so \[c=\frac{a}{\sin(45)}\] since \(a=b\) you can also say \(c=\frac{b}{\sin(45)}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

very strange question because you have an isosceles right triangle , and therefore \(a=b\) and \(c=a\sqrt{2}\)
