|x-4|= -3 subtract 7 from each side

nothing can make that a negative since it is an absolute value.

there fore no solution.

No solution....when x > 4 we get x=1 so not possible as it > 4 and when x < 4 we get 7 so same logic as it is already less than 4 can not take 7
