Create three fractions by replacing the word ‘blank’ in each fraction with a variable or number. You can use the same value or three different replacement values. Explain all the work in simplifying your new addition problem. 3 over blank plus blank over a squared minus blank over a cubed. 3 over blank plus blank over a squared minus blank over a cubed Last question of the day people, help me out please.
its the same lol
3/blank + blank/a^2 - blank/a^3
Yeah cus I got myself confused with the other one
Yessss
silly goose
you definately been thinking too much and hard :) but that is good, we at OS are proud of you :P
So how do I solve this?
Nevermind I'll just skip it and not get the points for it.
it is already solved
just treat blank as a variable and a as another variable
No you have to replace the words "blank" with any variable then simplify it
but blank is a variable :P
ooh i'll make it simple you can choose a number so choose 1 :)
you can use the same number 3 times i read 3/1 + 1/a^2 - 1/a^3
(3*a^3+a-1)/a^3
Is that what it simplifies to? :P
yes :)
How did you get that though so I can write it down!
