why text messaqging has caused the deterioration of proper english usage

Another thing if I may add to this is that many times, there is called an auto-correct for words that were spelled incorrectly. For example, if you typed the word "what" as "waht", it automatically corrects it for you. The old-fashioned way is sometimes best rather than depending on these to help us in our basic English language.
