The average middle-distance runner at a local high school runs the mile in 4.5 minutes, with a standard deviation of 0.3 minute. Find the percentage of a runners that will run the mile in less than 4 minutes?

You will need a z chart for this one. Four minutes is 5/3 sigma, so find how much is outside of that. It should be about five percent, I think. If that's true, high-school milers have gotten a lot faster in the last forty or so years.
