It takes 7 men, 2 hours to build a wall.. For 3 men, how many hours will it take to build the same wall.. It is just a Puzzle and not the question... It is fun actually..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let others give their answer too...

Parth (parthkohli):

Ok then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In 2 hours, 7 men completed a wall. In 2 hours, 1 men completed 1/7 of a wall. In 1 hour, 1 men completed 1/14 of a wall. Thus, in 1 hour, 3 men will complete 3/14 of a wall. To find number of hours for wall to be complete, 14/3 = 4 (2/3) hours.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry @tiaph I have just written above that it is just a fun..

OpenStudy (callisto):

It takes no time...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anybody else want to answer????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My bad for killing the fun. Didnt know. I will leave the answer there for people who are interested in the mathematical answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Parthkohli is absolutely what is the need of building the same wall again.. It takes no time because wall has been built already... Callisto is also right...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ParthKohli can you give a medal to callisto from my side..

OpenStudy (callisto):

This has been posted before...

Parth (parthkohli):

lol I deleted it so that the fun doesn't get spoilt and I already gave it to Jo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok... Well I did not have the information that it has been posted earlier..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok.. wait.. I got this..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ya waiting @Trexy..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No need to bother, the 7 men have already built it." Im not sure but thats my guess.. is that right??

Parth (parthkohli):

Yep, but the answer has been given already :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, this answer you gave is absolutely correct but sorry If I would have more medals, then I would have given it you...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait what @ParthKohli .. Hahah.. I didnt even read all the comments. cuz once i seen the question i went straight for saying "ok.. wait.. I got this.. " I'm too late.. Oh well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@waterineyes its fine. its just for fun anyway.. hahah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nothing is too late, medals for everyone!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahah @tiaph everyone need a medal here.. jk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks tiaph... Yeah trexy it is for fun only...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now I should say thanks to Trexy too Thanks trexy...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same time, same prize.:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm but sometimes i really don't care about the medals. I find that I care more about people closing their questions when they are done with it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is so nice of you @tiaph ..

Parth (parthkohli):

^.^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@myko yap.. people who work all day today.. Im just impress.. and thanks cuz you guyz actually help a lot.. @tiaph and thats true..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm the "dot dot" at the end sort of imply you are skeptical at what im saying. But really i rage more about people not closing their questions than not giving medals/giving questions in wrong forms/giving erroneous questions. I find it a pain to sieve through all the open questions to actually find one person who really needs the help, rather than finding an open question with tons of replies/answers already.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or better: no time, same prize

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tiaph wait. wat?

OpenStudy (callisto):

@tiaph I agree!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha sorry i meant waterineyes post, not yours! hope no offense taken. my bad.

OpenStudy (callisto):

It's a off-topic discussion already. Perhaps it's better to discuss this in math chat box than in this post.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tiaph ooh Im just like UM.Okay. your fine.. @Callisto yeah. Okie Dokie
