Hiya, anyone else here using these videos to prepare for CIE A-levels?
I am. this will cover the micro economics part as a reference reading. I am also using the recommended books by cie with these lectures.
Great to hear that! You don't happen to be in Singapore do you? Anyway, it's just wonderful to find people with similar interest here. I'm studying by myself to take the Oct/Nov session this year. I'm also taking Maths and Maths Further and if you aren't on it already, I highly recommend the Linear Algebra and Single Variable Calculus!
i am taking maths and physics with eco and planning to give this oct/nov session. actually i am not a full time student and have a fulltime job with studies.I find this very helpful. how much do you think i should have completed for eco to be able to attempt oct/nov sesstion. I have just started a month a go.
i am from pakistan.
which lectures are you following for mathematics?
Cool! Pretty much the same here. Looking at the CIE website where they have past year papers and marking schemes I think we'll be fine. Obviously we'll be rushing things a bit but to get results for university application deadline in Singapore (and studying by myself means no predicted grades) October is my only shot if I want to start an undergrad next year. For maths I'm doing Single Variable Calculus right now using iTunes U it's perfect for me since I really didn't want to hire any tutors.
you can use xtremepapers . com to download all the past papers you need.
While you're at it, Professor Walter Lewin's classical mechanics are really great too: I'm not taking physics but it's just a lot of fun to watch, that for the statistics components of the maths paper you can also find it on MIT OCW
cool! thanks! Checking it out right now
That's cool! Had I known this before I would have saved a day or two haha
