if point A lies on the line of reflection, where does the reflected image, point A',lie? a.) point A' lies above the line of reflection. b.)point A' lies below the line of reflection. c.)point A'lies on the line of reflection but not on point A d.) point A' is the same as point A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If point A lies on the line of reflection A' is the same point as A. In other words, there is actually no reflection. Imagine you lying on the same plane as the mirror. Putting your finger as close to the mirror as possible. It gets closer and closer. Not the best explanation, i must admit

so thenn the answer is A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Either you have a problem reading what i wrote or i wrote so bad that no one can understand. Answer is D. point A' is the same as point A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see what you mean xD

Yea. I dont have a scientific explanation for this, but once you understand what the question really means, guess you know what the answer is, Should be pretty straightforward.
