what does this mean P(B) and above the B there is a flat bar? How do i find this probability

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

I'm going to denote the one with the flat bar as P( B' ) It turns out that P( B ) + P( B' ) = 1 So P( B' ) = 1 - P( B )
