What is the length of FE rounded to the nearest tenth?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Shayaan_Mustafa can you help me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mertsj Can you help?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

the two triangles are congruent?? or anything like that stated?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there congruent i just need to know the distance?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

ohkay, if they are congruent, then FE = AC. okay with this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

Now do you know how to find the distance between two points/coordinates? something like a 'distance formula' - any faint memories?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, sorry :( can you show me?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

Hmm, no probs. read this, this is what you need here: For two points, say P(x\(_1\),y\(_1\)) and B(x\(_2\),y\(_2\)) distance PQ between them is: \[PQ = \sqrt{(x_1-x_2)^2 + (y_1-y_2)^2}\] Can you apply this to points A(0,1) and C(3,2) according this^, and find out distance AC?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 3?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

nope, are you guessing lol? are you able to understand what I wrote above?

@HELP001 stuck or done?
