Write an equation in slope intercept form given the graph below. marbles: 5, 10, 15,20 height cm : 34,40,46,52 y = 6/5x – 35.8 y = 6/5x + 28 y = -5/6 – 35.8 y = 5/6x + 28

hero (hero):

You've been waiting all day for this?

YUP

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It cant be the 3rd one. It gives you negative numbers. The first one should do, too. You have to experiment with the other two left.

hero (hero):

I thought you had some kind of advanced level math question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That depends on the prespective doesnt it? haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@soati wait im confused rolf. so is it the 3rd one or what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, it cant be that. because if you take any positive X (marbles) you get a negative Y (height) and you dont even have negative values to begin with. Try to replace X in the second equation by one of your number of marbles. See if you get the correct number Y. If you do, try it for the other 3! If you get all 4 right, then that is your answer. Otherwise, try another one :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow @Hero that was rude......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait im confused.... what did u get @soati ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im trying to explain how you can solve it yourself. The answer is B but that doesnt explain you anything. You see how you have 4 different numbers of marbles and 4 for height, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NVM I GOT IT THANKS @soati !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
