Yes, I use RubyOnRails for developing web applications. It is very easy to implement a site that has authentication.

i mean, the website is just, you open it, you see USERNAME______, PASSWORD________, then after you enter ur login info, u can download a certain document. if not, u have to register

the site railscast has authentication, authorization, payment and more application design ... so it needs more time.
