OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think -6/11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dnt think so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use the Additive Inverse Method

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i did it on my copy.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the options are a=x=8,b=x=-2,c=x=-8,d=x=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The additive inverse of 9 is -9 so... =-9+9-4x+7x=15-9 Solve this equation, then you would get the answer...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or should I say, the value of x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then after getting the value. Substitute it to your equation. The answer should be 15 also...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not working out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

am juts gonna go with -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it work. Is it ok for you if I'll right the answer???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

=-9+9-4x+7x=15-9 =-4x+7x=6 =3x=6 =3x/3=6/3 =x=2 <--- Value of x Checking: Substitute: 9-4x+7x=15 9-4(2)+7(2)=15 9-8+14=15 1+14=15 15=15 2=answer. :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):
