The part of a circuit that increases the electric potential of the electrons is the _____. conducting wires resistors battery ammeter

Think of this this way: What adds energy to the circuit? What uses up energy in the circuit (the vast majority of it anyways)? If you still don't have it, the wires and ammeter will use up a little bit of electric energy (resistance) and turn it into heat energy. The resistors will use up the vast majority of the energy (that's typically a primary function of resistors such as those in your toaster or a lightbulb filament or LED). And a battery adds energy to a circuit. *singing* "One of these things is not like the others..." ;-)
