Ok, so you have an unknown amount of almonds, say X, and an unknown amount of walnuts, say Y, that when added together are 12 pounds. You also know that the amount of almonds, X, @ 4.30/lb added to the amount of walnuts @ 3.75/lb equals 47.75. What are those equations?
