Find the range for the measurement of the third side of a triangle, x, given the measures of the two sides: 3.8 ft and 9.2 ft. 5.4 ft < x < 13 ft 5.4ft x 13 ft 6 ft < x < 13 5.4 ft > x > 13 ft

The first one
If you add 3.8+9.2 you would get one part of the range, and that would give you x<13. For the other part you subtract 9.2-3.8 and that gives you 5.4 It would be the first one in this problem. 5.4ft<x<13ft.
