Lagrange multipliers: Simply let: \[A_0=y(x+y \tan (\theta)) \implies 0=y(x+y \tan(\theta))-A_0\] \[L(x,y,\lambda)=x+\frac{2y}{\cos(\theta)}-\lambda \left[ y(x+y \tan(\theta)) - A_0\right]\] From here find \[L_x,L_y,L_{\lambda}\] And set them all to zero. Its algebra from there.
