Aaaag i suck at word problems! ITS MULTIPLE CHOICE!!! I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP!! A doctors office schedules 15-min appointments and half hour appointments for weekdays. The doctor limits these appointments to at most 30 hours per week. Write an inequality to represent the number of 15 min appt. x and the number of half hour appt. y the doctor may have in a week a. 15x + 30y <= 30 b. 15x + 30y <= 1800 c. 15x + 30y > 1800 d. 15x + 1/2y <= 30

OpenStudy (alexwee123):

well it is at most so that can help narrow down your options to "a" and "d"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!

OpenStudy (alexwee123):

need help to further narrow down your answer or are you ok?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well ill take any help i can get haha

OpenStudy (precal):

15 min appt x is 15x 30 min appt y is 30y the word and tells you to add them together 15x+30y or 30y+15x

OpenStudy (precal):

|dw:1340851433696:dw| because the doctor only wants to allocate 30 hours in his/her week to the appointments

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much!
