Partner Investment A $4300 B $7700 The amounts that two partners invested in a new business are given in the table above. If the partners share the profits in the same ratio as their investment, what is partner B's share in a $3600 profit?

The total invested was $4300+$7700=$12,000 Each investor's share is represented by (amount invested/total invested) that can then be multiplied by the profit to determine proper share. A's part of the profit would be (4300/12,000)(3600)=$1290 B's part of the profit would be (7700/12,000)(3600)=$2310
