What is the value of y? (1 point) https://www.connexus.com/content/media/456845-1312011-102008-AM-1246730467.png a.4 b.3 c.2 d.1

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

not a lot of information provides.... what type of quadrilateral is it?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

I'll assume the diagonals bisect each other then y = x + 3 (1) and 3x + 2 = y + 1 (2) substitute equation 1 into equation 2 gives 3x + 2 = x + 3 + 1 3x + 2 = x + 4 subtract x from both sides 2x + 2 = 4 subtract 2 from both sides 2x = 2 divide by 2 x = 1 since x = 1 the in equation 1 y = x+ 1 then y = 1 + 1 or y = 2

thanks
