Solve the following word problems using linear inequalities. a. The cost of buying a school lunch is P60 per day. If a student has a monthly budget of P1,000 for food, determine the number of days he should bring his lunch to make sure that he does not exceed his budget. Assume that there are 28 schools days in a month and that lunch brought from home is not deducted from his budget.
If you use a calculator annd multiply random numbers with 60, soon you'll figure out the most he can have school lunch in his budget is 16 days. That means for the rest of the days 28-16=12, for 12 of the days he has to bring home lunch.
I need to ue linear inequalities. :<
Okay let me see. \[60x \le 1,000\] That's what I would think.
It's probably 60x + 28 ≤ 1,000
Idk if the 28 would be there.
Why not?
It would basically be added to the school money he uses for lunch every day.
Ohhh tight okay. Thanks :)
Hopefully it works :)
