A bag contains 3 red marbles, 4 blue marbles, and 5 white marbles. What is the probability of NOT pulling out a red marble three times if none are replaced?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

the probability of not pulling a red marble first time is 9/12. the second time would be 8/11 and the third time would be 7/10. it decreases because the marbles are not replaced. to get the probability that a red marble will not be pulled three times multiply everything. 9/12 x 8/11 x 7/10

thanks that helped me got one more for you: DeJuana bought a lottery ticket and used her birthday to pick the numbers: 6 2 8 0. What is the probability that she has the winning ticket if the possible numbers are 0 through 9?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

there are 10 numbers from 0 to 9. probability she got the first number right is 1/10. probability she got the second right is 1/10. the probability she got the third right is 1/10. probability she got the fourth right is 1/10. probability she got everything right is 1/10 x 1/10 x 1/10 x 1/10
