Write out the steps to solve the following problem. Find g(f(x)) if f(x) = -4x and g(x) = x2 + 3x – 5

@coolmathguy thank you for helping me so much :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Drop f(x) inside g(x). In other words replace all the x's in g(x) by the value of f(x).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

g(f(x)) = (-4x)^2 + 3(-4x) - 5 and evaluate. I hope that helps.

so im going to get -4x^2-12x-5?
