Plz help I need 2 pass this test and this is the last question and it is worth 8 BIG JUICY POINTS!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a^4 / a^2. The quotient of these monomials is a^2. The operation was subtraction. When you divide exponents you subtract. Proof: a*a*a*a / a*a 2 of the a's can be cancelled out and we are left with a*a on the left side of the equation. a*a = a^2
