Which of the following describes the inheritance tendency of sex-linked genes? A. Move from fathers to daughters B. Move from fathers to sons C. Move from mothers to daughters D. Move from mothers to sons

mother to son?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lets just say that the "disease" is symboled d a. could be right, because a male has XdY, so he could give that Xd to his daughter b. not possible because a male baby only can inherit a Y from his father and the X from his mother. so nope c.Possible because if a mother is XdXd then she will eventually get it unless her dad is XDY(dominant) d. this is also possible, because if the mother is XdXd then the son must inherite that X from his mother. So this is kind of a trick question...
