Is texting and driving dangerous? Should it be against the law? How can you keep yourself from doing texting when you drive?

It can be because texting has the potential to distract you from driving safely. There's a number of gruesome accidents that have already been caused by texting while driving. It's also already against the law in a number of states because of that. Here's a list of states where you can get in trouble for being caught texting while driving: http://www.ghsa.org/html/stateinfo/laws/cellphone_laws.html There are a few ways you can keep yourself from texting while driving. You can just ignore the texts, have someone else in the car check them for you, turn off the phone (you'll still get the messages anyway), or just wait until you get to where you need to go.
