Add. (x^5 + 7x^3 – 9) + (4x^5 – 2x^3 + 13) 5x^5 + 5x^3 + 4 4x^5 – 5x^3 – 4 4x^5 + 9x^3 + 22 5x^5 + 9x^3 – 22 I got 5x^5-5x^3+4. Idk what I did wrong so yeah.

OpenStudy (agent47):

add the coefficients of the corresponding terms

OpenStudy (agent47):

(x^5 + 7x^3 – 9) + (4x^5 – 2x^3 + 13) = 5x^5 + 5x^3... that's ur mistake

OpenStudy (agent47):

7x^3 + (-2x^3) is +5x^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be the first choice.

OpenStudy (agent47):

yea
